Welcome to my site. My name is Olivia Clifton and I am a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, New York. From 2018 to 2021, I was an Advanced Study Program Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. I received my PhD in 2018 from Columbia University. My interests include the intersections among the land surface, climate, and atmospheric chemistry. Most of my work focuses on the dry deposition of reactive gases and aerosols relevant for air pollution, ecosystems, and climate.
Check out my interview with AGU Eos Editor’s Vox on the review paper that I led on ozone dry deposition in Reviews of Geophysics, or the new AGU Eos Research spotlight on my recent paper in Journal of Geophysical Research: Biogeosciences.
